Apple announced 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips in January 2023. These new MacBook Pros went on sale Tuesday, January 24, 2023, and we’re already seeing discounts – Amazon US and KRCS in the UK, both have cash (more on that below), but we don’t expect to see huge discounts on these models for some time to come.

In the meantime, you can get a great deal on any of the older MacBook Pro M1 Pro or M1 Mac models launching in 2021 as retailers have run out of stock. For example, you can save $400 off the original price of a 16-inch MacBook Pro at Amazon US and £450 off the original price of a 16-inch MacBook Pro at Amazon UK. Just note that Apple outside of the US Apple has raised prices for the new MacBook Pro line, which means the prices for older models will be even more attractive.
