Andy Cohen drops the F-word on live TV

Andy Cohen shocked viewers by dropping the F-bomb during his show Watch What Happens Live by discussing the celebrity death hoax trend on TikTok.

The 54-year-old star, who was accused of snubbing Ryan Seacrest on New Year’s Eve, was criticized by Kathy Griffin this week.

Cohen used the expletive during the Jackhole Of The Day segment.

“For the last two weeks, people have been sending me videos of their loved ones being told I’m dead,” Cohen said.

“I don’t want to experience people’s reactions to my death,” Cohen said, adding that he already has a fear of death and is not on that trend.

The celebrity death trend on TikTok involves someone lying to someone else about a celebrity death and filming it for the thrill of seeing their reaction.

It was also called a ‘celebrity death prank’.

Cohen dropped the expletive when he demanded that fans not link him to these videos.

“So, let me be clear: don’t make, distribute, or tag me in any fucking—” he trailed off.

That’s when he stopped talking and covered his mouth when he realized he had used obscene language.

After he caught himself saying the expletive, Cohen returned to the show.

He later tweeted that it was the “first time in 13 and a half years” he had used profanity on Watch What Happens Live.

Dropping the F-bomb was just the last bad thing to happen to the New Yorker.

He was criticized by Kathy Griffin when she said he didn’t treat her right when he fired her from CNN’s New Year’s show.

Next, Seacrest accused the Bravo host of snubbing him when the two performed their New Year’s Eve shows from 10 feet apart on Saturday in New York’s Times Square.

To fight! This comes after Ryan Seacrest made it clear that he thinks Andy Cohen snubbed him when they taped their New Year's specials side-by-side.

Not cool: Ryan said on the morning show Live With Kelly And Ryan that Cohen failed to recognize him when he was standing just 10 feet away from him

To fight! This comes after Ryan Seacrest made it clear that he thinks Cohen snubbed him when they taped their New Year’s specials side-by-side. Ryan said on Live With Kelly And Ryan that Cohen failed to recognize him when he was standing just 10 feet away.

On Tuesday, Andy was in the news when Seacrest, 48, said on Live! With Kelly and Ryan, Cohen failed to recognize him when he was standing just 10 feet away from him.

He then added that Anderson Cooper, however, was cordial.

But Ryan’s TV co-host Kelly Ripa – who is a close friend of Cohen’s – interrupted Seacrest and argued that Andy tried to say hello but failed to get Ryan’s attention after several attempts.

It all seems to boil down to what he said/said in what has been an ongoing feud between Cohen and Seacrest over the years.

The subject came up when Ryan appeared angered by the alleged snub by Cohen, the host of Watch What Happens Live on Bravo.

‘It was funny because my big stage was right in front of Anderson and Andy,’ Ryan began. ‘When I wasn’t working, I tried to get their attention.’

But Ryan loves Anderson: Ryan next supported the show by Andy and co-star Anderson Cooper. 'They have a great show. And Anderson, the best. He turns and says:

Seacrest then explained that they were so close they could have been on each other’s screens.

‘I thought maybe I was in the [CNN camera] shot,” he added. ‘I just wanted to wave and say hi.’

Next, Ryan was supportive of Andy’s co-star Cooper.

‘They have a great show. And Anderson, the best. He turns around and says, ‘Have a good show.’ Class. Class. Andy didn’t turn around,’ Seacrest said.

Ripa didn’t seem to think Seacrest’s story was valid. She said it didn’t work that way.

The queen of the morning show was not on the scene because she had no hosting duties on New Year’s Eve; instead, she was at home in New York with her husband Mark Consuelos.

But she said she spoke with Cohen. ‘This is not true. He said he was trying to get her attention,’ Ripa said.

‘Serious?’ Ryan answered. ‘Honestly…we’re less than 10 feet apart doing the show.’

This happened after Ryan and Andy got into a fight over alcohol. A week ago, Seacrest told Entertainment Weekly that it was a “good idea” for CNN to ban alcohol consumption on air.

Last year, Cohen, 54, said he was drinking in the air. And he caused a lot of controversy by referencing the ABC broadcast Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve by referencing Ryan Seacrest’s “group of losers performing.”

On Wednesday morning, Cohen continued the drama on his Sirius XM show.

‘He has a bug about me. Two weeks in a row,” said Andy referring to Ryan.

Then Cohen claimed he didn’t see Seacrest even though they were only 10 feet away.

‘I did not see him. I don’t even know what I, I haven’t seen Anderson [Cooper] turn and wave. Usually what Anderson does… usually, if he’s waving at Ryan, he says to me, “Hey, there’s Ryan.” Do you know what I mean? Yes. And then I turn around and wave or say, ‘There’s Ryan,’ but he didn’t.’

So Andy called Anderson to get his opinion.

“Oh, you’re going to get me involved in a thing with Seacrest,” Anderson said when speaking with Cohen live on the show.

“That’s a you and me thing because he said on the show that you politely turned around and waved at him and mumbled to him have a good show and that I didn’t turn around,” Cohen said.

‘Right. Or Happy New Year or something like that,” Cooper shared.

Andy then said, ‘The point I just made on the show is that generally if one of us sees Ryan, turns around and waves, we’ll say to the other, ‘Oh, there’s Seacrest.’ So I’m saying, you didn’t say that to me this year.

‘I did not do it. I’m sorry if this was a mistake on my part. I thought I saw you waving or something,” Anderson said.

‘Thank you for clearing that up. I didn’t see him,’ shared Andy.

The cut turned into a scar that continues to bruise the Emmy winner, who wrote on Instagram on Saturday: ‘Ugh. Every year someone sends me this clip on New Year’s Eve.’

Referring to the Watch What’s Happening Live host, she continued: ‘This guy was my boss for years. I decided whether or not I worked at Bravo. Can you imagine seeing your former boss on TMZ like this? There!’

She referred to rival show Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Seacrest posting and guests including Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus writing, ‘Anyway, I can’t wait to watch Miley and Dolly tonight.’
